The thing about hate crimes is anyone can commit it and the advantage of it is that it's convenient. Any armchair blogger can be a hero and a villain of the internet world simply by spouting hate at any given subject. It works and it works great. Even when there is no hate crime it can be made to look as such, there's no escaping it. So why not embrace it?

In a New York subway a bunch of Christian nuts were yelling 'merry Christmas', a Jewish guy happened to be walking by with some of his pacifist friends. In the spirit of the season he replied 'Happy Chanukah'. Maybe said Jewish guy should have kept his big gob shut because what he said was a hate crime against the Christians who took offence that the Jewish guy had killed their deity. So upon this the Christians began exercising their right to free beatings against people they didn't like. Upon seeing this a Muslim came up and, well he got his ass kicked too it was ten Christian nuts versus one Jewish guy (plus his pacifist friends) and one non-suicide bombing Muslim.

It's the thought that counts, and may I be the first to ask, WHAT WAS HE THINKING? Now the Muslim is also committing a hate crime by preventing the Christian guys from their right to express how much they hate the Jewish guy.

Of course the Christian nuts are the most guilty of committing hate crimes expressing their views about Christmas by yelling 'Merry Christmas' in the subway like that and offending people who don't believe in Santa Claus.
